Another Blazer Game!!!

Pat, Selena and Joel took Bob and Lola to another Blazer game Friday night! The Blazers lost. Rj told Bob they should stop going to the games . . . because every time they've gone, the team has lost!

Merry Christmas & Happy Birthday Bob!

Bob and Lola spent the afternoon with Brad and Heather and the Garrett Family at Brad's house in Corbett. Looks like great desserts and a special birthday treat for Bob. Happy Birthday, Bob!!

Christmas Eve

with the Jack Family! Bob and Lola spent Christmas Eve with Randy, Debi, Hailey & Ryan (along with Debi's parents visiting from Boise); Kim, Darin, Paige, Megan, Cassidy & Gabrielle at Rj and Deb's house. Nathan wasn't feeling well and stayed home. After a dinner of Mexican food, the chaos started . . .

Blazer Game - Suite Style

Brad treated Bob and Lola to a Blazer Game Friday night. They watched the game from a Suite. Bob said it was like watching it on the TV.

Breakfast Out and A Ride on Tri-Met

Today started with breakfast with Annette, Selena, Joel, Alyce (in town from Bend for the weekend) and Annette's Mom at Shari's.



Alyce then took Bob & Lola for a trial run on the Tri-Met bus. They had a 12:30 pick up time. All of them were impressed with how both drivers really helped them on and off the bus as well as with their patience with the passengers. They had the bus take them to Wal-Mart. They did their shopping and then the bus came back and picked them up. The return ride was full so they got to see a bit of the city of Gladstone (the locals call it Happy Rock) before the bus dropped them back home. They said the experience was a good one and they could see themselves using Tri-Met more often.

Cookies from some Sweeties

Selena and Delanie spent the weekend together and on her way to take Selena home, Heather and the girls stopped to see Bob and Lola. They brought cookies from the Dollar Store!

Lunch with the 4 Jacks

Saturday Randy, Debi, Hailey & Ryan picked Bob and Lola up and took them to lunch at their favorite restaurant, Hometown Buffet. Bob says "you sure do get your money's worth . . . and its good food!" After lunch, they went to Winco to stock up on groceries for home.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving dinner was spent with Brad and Heather at their house in Corbett!


Mac is getting so big . . . and big sister, Delanie loves him so!

Corbett Children's Theater

Saturday, Brad picked up Bob & Lola for a play Delanie participated in at the Corbett Children's Theater. Bob said the play was good . . . "quite a production" and they had a great time. A bonus . . . they got to visit with Delanie and Mac!

Kim & Company

Kim and her kids were out trick-or-treating last night so they stopped by Bob & Lola's (even though B&L had their lights turned off.) It was sooo cold and windy last night . . . they were all bundled up. Bob & Lola were planning on keeping their lights off (Lola hates Halloween) but bought a bag of "all day suckers" (Tootsie Pops) just in case!

Okay, now that I was able to load the picture and get a look at it up close and personal, its not really that great of a picture. . . . kinda blurry . . . hmm . . . I must get my eyes checked (yet again.)

An Early Start

Lola and I were out and about early this morning beginning with her physical therapy appoinment at 8:00. We had a little bit of time to kill after her PT and before her doctor appointment so we did a little browsing at JoAnn Fabrics. As I'm sure you can imagine, this excited Lola!She has been telling Bob she needs a new knitting machine. He, of course, thinks she doesn't. (The one she has "got broke.") However, over the last few weeks he has apparently "come around to her thinking" and said she could buy it "for her Christmas." Lola found the exact machine while we were at JoAnn's AND . . . . it was $40 cheaper than the price of the same thing she found online.
I told her I occasionally received 40% off coupons and the next time I got one, I would give it to her so she could save even more. This is one happy knittin' lady!Once our business was finished at the doctor's office, we headed back home to pick up Bob so we could go get haircuts. We got to the house (Lola waited in the car while I went to get Bob), and Bob was still as we had left him 3 hours earlier!!! (In his long johns and a shirt.) It didn't take him too long to get his pants on and comb his hair and we were off to get haircuts. Bob told the stylist he was 86 years old and didn't want to look like those long hair young kids. . . . so this is what he got . . . . .
I took a great picture of the both of them, but for some reason cannot get it to load on this @#*&*$@# thing. I want to get this published so will post the picture later when they (whoever the hell "they" are) decide to let me do it (as it can't possibly be my problem, can it?!)

Pumpkin Patch

Randy, Debi, Hailey & Ryan picked Bob & Lola up this afternoon for a trip to the Rossi Farms Pumpkin Patch. What a beautiful day for the trip!
Between Bob and Randy there were a ton of pictures taken! Thank you Randy! Just viewing the pictures makes it seem like we were all there with you! (I wish I would have been - looks like great fun!)
