Happy Thanksgiving & Happy Birthday Pat

Bob and Lola spent Thanksgiving with Brad and family in Corbett. They also celebrated Pat's birthday!

Barb Visits

Barb visited from Reno again and went on the bus to Fred Meyer with Bob and Lola. They had quite a shopping trip.

While Loo was Out . . . .

I went to pick up Bob and Lola (and Loo) for Loo's grooming appointment. I got there just a couple of minutes early. They were just returning from their Tuesday trip to Fred Meyer for groceries. Linda (the bus driver) is so very kind and helpful. Bob and Lola consider her a friend.

We stopped at Target after we dropped Loo. I took the above picture without either Bob or Lola noticing me right behind them. We usually go our separate ways - each of us with our own carts - and meet back up at the front of the store when we're done. Before I leave them to be on their own, I make sure Bob has his cell phone so I can track him down when I need to. (Losing Bob in Fred Meyer ONCE was enough for me . . . he got his cell phone shortly after that incident.)

This is Nancy . . . Loo's groomer. Loo loves Nancy and Nancy says Loo is very easy to work with. Below is a (not very good) picture of Sara. She helps Nancy and has groomed Loo when Nancy was on vacation. She does an exceptional job!

Before we picked Loo up, we went to lunch at Arby's. It's one of Bob and Lola's favorites. Roast beef sandwiches, curly fries and pop (yes, Robert, they both drank a pop . . . they say their first in a very long time.)

Happy Halloween

Lola said I looked ugly. Bob didn't recognize me at first. Loo would have nothing to do with me. I'd say, all in all, it was a successful costume!

Cathy Visits

Cathy and Chris came for a visit at the end of October.

Bowling in Gresham

Today, Alice and Bob joined Delanie, Joel, Selena and Mac for a fun afternoon of bowling. Bob didn't try it himself, but had a great time watching the kids have so much fun!

Halloween Comes Early!

Alice came to visit on Friday. A visit to Pat and Annette's house proved to be quite entertaining for Bob. They're all decorated for Halloween.

Annette even put her costume on for Bob so he could take a picture!

Norma

and Sandy drove up from Medford on Saturday morning. They picked Lola up to take her with them for a visit to Baker.

Saturday

brought a visit to Vancouver, Washington. Bob and Lola spent the day with Randy, Debi and kids. They went to lunch at a place called Top Burger in Camas. It's an old throw back drive in that has been open since the 50's. It is so popular for it's burgers and shakes that people come from all over to eat there. They also spent time in a book store called Vintage Books and, of course, a stop at Super Walmart.

A Shopping Trip . . . .

Looks like Bob was busy taking pictures instead of shopping! Don't be fooled by the pictures. A little birdie told me he picked up his share of (food) items!
After dropping their purchases at home, Bob and Lola were treated to dinner at Hometown Buffet. I guess they just can't get enough of that place!

Lunch

at Burgerville this afternoon. But first, a car wash.
It was a beautiful day and I really should have washed it myself, but just didn't have the time (I actually enjoy washing my car . . weird, huh?) I picked Bob and Lola up and took them through the car wash with me.
Burgerville was my choice. I LOVE Burgerville cheeseburgers (and their fries, yes I had fries . . . I don't usually do that . . . but I needed them today.) Lola had a halibut sandwich and Bob had a classic burger.


We took the scenic route home and stopped at Dollar Tree on our way. Bob picked up some "all day suckers" (aka Tootsie Pops) . . . 5 BAGS! "That should last us a bit." Too funny.
