While I took Lola to her physical therapy appointment bright and early this morning, Robert took Bob to his appointment at the V.A. Lola's appointment took an hour and we scheduled 4 more (once a week) for the next month. We hadn't heard from Rj and Bob, so we went to Costco to pick up pictures and get some office supplies and then to the post office to pick up mail. I didn't call Rj because I wasn't sure exactly what all Bob's appointment involved. By 11:00 we were headed home when Robert finally called. He had already dropped Bob at home at 9:50!!! You would think the man would know by now to check in - - especially when he knew we were wondering what was going on!!!! Bob told me he wanted to call us, but Rj told him not to because Lola was in physical therapy. Oh brother . . . first of all, they wouldn't work an 85 year old woman for longer than an hour AND Lola was the
only one having physical therapy . . . I was waiting for her
and I had the phone!!!!!! Sometimes I wonder what goes on in that brain of his.
Apparently, Bob got his nose looked at (camera phone picture courtesty of Robert) and cleaned out with a needle looking thing that - - according to Robert - - "had to have been "a foot long"
AND according to Bob . . . . "hurt like heck." The doctor didn't find anything but prescribed some different medications (nose spray and saline solution) and told Bob he would schedule him for a CAT scan in the near future. All doctor visits are done for this week!
