When we're at Target, we lose track of Bob (he always goes off in a separate direction) I finally called him on his cell phone. (This was the first time we tested this concept.) He actually heard it and answered!!! He told me he was in the very back of the store looking for us and then he proceeds to tell me he was so proud that he remembered his camera and his house keys, but he forgot his billfold!
Our next stop was Arby's for lunch. Bob enjoyed his roast beef sandwich with curly fries and Lola had a chicken sandwich.
At lunch, we (Lola and I) decided to make a stop at Michaels just to have a "lok see." We told Bob he had no choice but to tag along (this is not his favorite store.)
I then decided we should stop by Dairy Queen on the way home (as a treat for Bob since he suffered through the stop at Michaels.) Lola and I had small cones (hers a chocolate and vanilla swirl) and Bob enjoyed a pineapple milkshake (his absolute favorite.) Even though it was 89+ degrees outside, we were not expecting to see this . . . . .

While Lola is laughing, Bob and I are attempting to take pictures (he from the back seat and me while driving - having handed off my cone to Lola to hold.) Once we turned off Sunnyside Road, all Bob had to say was "It sure is an education." (I assumed he meant living in the big city.)

We arrived back home and Bob finished his milkshake . . . "you sure get your money's worth."

Rj showed up a few minutes after we got home. (He felt left out when he found out we went to Dairy Queen without him.) He says to Bob, "come on" and they leave. It amazes me that Bob just blindly goes whenever Rj tells him to "come on." He never knows where they're going, how long they're going to be gone or how far they're going for that matter. He just goes. They took Bob's car to get the tank filled and to get it washed. (They were still running on the same $10 Bob put in the car before they left Baker in June. Bob called to "check in" when they were gone. He told me they were getting "the works" at the car wash and he didn't know where they were going from there, but he'd "check back" with us. I took this picture when they finally showed back up at the house.

Whey they got home, Bob tells Lola they filled the tank and he doesn't remember if he ever filled the tank before. He figures that tank will probably last them a couple years - - given the amount they drive.
